The government of Alberta has a new initiative called Explore Local, which will assist local companies with growth in the local food market. Explore Local enables businesses and consumers to search a map according to location or specific produce. A brief search indicates that many local companies in the Medicine Hat and surrounding areas are not shown on this website.
