Industry Associations

    • Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development - Responsible for the management of programs designed to facilitate the development of all components of the agriculture and food industry, to sustain the natural resource base of the industry and to encourage the development of rural communities.
    • Agriculture and Food Council of Alberta - a non-profit organization, aimed at ensuring Alberta's ag and food sector are globally competitive, profitable and sustainable.
    • Alberta Beef Producers - Producers providing producers with information about the industry and working towards strengthening the sustainability and competitiveness of the beef industry.
    • Alberta Farm Fresh Producers Association - Non-profit organization representing direct market growers across the province of Alberta.
    • Alberta Food Processors Association - supporting and promoting the interests of its members in the Alberta food and beverage industry
    • Alberta Greenhouse Growers Association - An association of growers, educators and allied trades people whose mission is to serve its members by promoting and strengthening the industry in Alberta.
    • Cattle Identification Agency - Non-profit industry led organization established to promote and protect animal health and food safety concerns in the Canadian cattle heard.
    • Eastern Irrigation District - Construct, operate and maintain the irrigation works; maintain and promote the economic viability; convey and deliver water through irrigation works and divert and use quantities of water.
