There is a great host of libraries, museums, and other cultural venues that make living in Southeast Alberta a very rich experience.
One of the main cultural investments in Southeast Alberta is the Esplanade Arts & Heritage Centre located in historic, downtown Medicine Hat. This venue includes a theatre, an art gallery and a museum.
World famous, Blues at the Bow, in the Town of Bow Island, features blues artists from across North America. This is a great way to take in some incredible music and check out the historic Bow Theatre.
The Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada recognized the Medicine Hat Clay Industries as a cultural landscape of national significance in 1999.
